Diary Schedules, under Utilities → Housekeeping, is where you set when each clinician works: their working patterns, time off and booking zones. The page was redesigned in Release 2.0.65.
These short videos show how to use it. Watch them in order, or jump to the one you need.
- Finding your way around Diary Schedules (1:19) – Where Diary Schedules lives and how the page is laid out: choosing a clinician from the list, the labels that flag what needs attention, the filters, and the four tabs.
- Working patterns (1:44) – Adding, changing and deleting the hours a clinician works: dates, day-by-day hours and lunch, copying Monday to the other weekdays, setting up a 4-week rotating pattern, and how the page catches mistakes and overlapping patterns.
- Time off (1:46) – Booking holidays and other time away: picking a range of days, part-day time off with times, how the page catches a mistake, and changing or removing an entry.
- Booking zones (2:16) – Colouring the diary to show which appointment types a clinician prefers at each time: painting zones, changing and deleting them, copying and clearing a week, and saving.
- Copying from another clinician (1:18) – Setting up a clinician quickly by copying another clinician's working pattern and booking zones, and how existing zones are protected from being replaced by accident.
- Checking the week (1:32) – The Week overview shows a clinician's hours, lunch, time off and booking zones together, just as the diary will: moving between weeks, and right-clicking a day to jump straight into changing it.
